On November 9th, Champlin UMC is hosting our 9th on-site meal packing event! This annual activity has become a favorite for many as all ages come together to challenge one another to pack nutritious meals for children in need. While light-hearted “competition” makes the event fun for us, the real winners are the kids who receive the meals.

To replenish the funds expended this year, our Ministry of the Month for November is Food For Kidz. This Minnesota-based organization is focused on bringing awareness to hunger problems around the world by involving communities in the packing of nutritional meals for distribution to children in need. Their mobile unit brings to us all the food and supplies we need, and the meals we pack will be delivered when and where they are most needed.

Please plan to join the packing event after worship on November 9th. You are also invited to support this fundraiser with a monetary donation, either in the Ministry of the Month basket on Sunday mornings in November, or by noting “Food For Kidz” or “Ministry of the Month” on your check or online donation.
