Julia brings a lifetime of diverse worship service expertise performing, planning, arranging and composing music while utilizing multiple instruments and media. From second grade on, she felt a strong calling to play for churches, and teach piano.

 Julia has had her own business teaching piano for over 23 years. She has been a member of APPI (Association of Professional Piano Instructors) and MNTA. For the last 25 years, she has been sharing her talents in ministry to CUMC.

          She attended both Anoka Ramsey Community College and The College of St. Catherine focusing not on a degree, but on four years of education to hone the skills needed for her calling.  

            Her passions are serving and empowering others through creative arts. She was a founding member and helped design the first and later updates of the Church Garden Room, in addition to home landscape design. Other hobbies include crocheting, jewelry making, mosaic art, and crafting in general. 

         She lives in Champlin with her husband Jorge. She has a son, daughter in law, a stepson, and two granddaughters.
