Riley Cardona’s experience in music and music education spans the past 13 years and ranges from early childhood music education to professional performance. She earned her Bachelor Music Education from South Dakota State University in 2011 and received a full scholarship to study in the Master of Music program at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music under the tutelage of soprano Costanza Cuccaro. In the fall of 2013, Riley made her professional main stage debut with the Florida Grand Opera and has since graced stages stateside and abroad as a sought after soprano soloist. Since moving to Minneapolis in 2015, Riley has performed with The Schubert Club, MacPhail’s Sonomento, the Kenwood Symphony, Source Song Festival, St. John’s Lutheran Church, the South Metro Chorale, Bethel University, The Lied Society, Southwest Minnesota Orchestra, and Orpheus Music Project. She has also maintained a private voice studio from her home in Spring Lake Park and here at Champlin UMC for students of all ages and skill levels.
